✨  Luminar Neo is getting a fresh look as part of the upcoming spring update! This hasn't been a straight path, there were A LOT of iterations (we started the brand update almost a year ago!) but today, I'd love to share with you a bit of a backstory of how we got here. 🎞 At the source of photography lies three foundations: the space, time, and light, and how they interact with each other. Photography is impossible without the light. We can think of it in many ways: light that heals us, light that warms us, light that carries information, light that cooks our food. Light is beyond what you can see - and we decided to take it as a foundational idea for our new brand identity. Our design team went further: if we think of #photography, there’s another dimension that adds depth to the image and it’s the rules of composition - symmetry, vanishing point..As we kept going deeper into how these associations intertwine, we arrived to this very simple symbol that became our new icon. Our new digital location “Wall – private” is a simple and classic setup, made for our customers, that focus on the private market. We have similar location “Wall – contract” that focus on the contract marked. The inspiration images below show “Rome” from Stressless, which is sold at our collaboration partner ILVA.   Most people who work with images and visualizations know how difficult it is to find the right location. Or even worse, having to describe the location you have in mind. We have solved this by creating a collection of 3D-locations our customers can use - for free! In a location, we can insert digital products so that our customers can get inspiring and beautiful images of their products in an environment.
