Today, Aeyde launches its Pre-Fall 2024 collection. In "Aeyde Elemente" Pt. 01, photographer Vitali Gelwich, stylist Monika Tatalovic, and model Greta Hofer collaborate to deconstruct the elements defining new footwear and accessories. In a season where Aeyde reflects on the compounds of Berlin's fragmented cityscape—the city the house calls home—the house contemplates the tangible links between the new collection and elements rooted in the fabric of the city, elements such as steel, concrete, brick, rock, rust, and asphalt. Aeyde's defining elements are distilled into subversive point-toe ballet flats Cleo, pointed ankle-strap pumps Perrine and Rissa, and squared Sunny Mary Janes in oil-slick and croc-effect leather finishes. We’re excited to announce the launch of the Aeyde x Selfridges Pop-Up for a limited time only. The Aeyde x Selfridges Pop-Up features designs from the house's Spring/Summer 2024 collection, such as the best-selling Gabriella ballet flats, Thekla slingback sandals, Stina kitten-heel sandals, and Darya ballet flats. Commenting on this inaugural pop-up, founder and CEO Luisa Dames said, "As a digital-first brand, we live online. It's an inspiring moment when we can present Aeyde's aesthetics to an in-person audience. I believe in digital brands stepping out into the world and creating tangible moments through pop-ups like this one to engage with their audiences. We feel very connected to our community in the UK, so it feels like an organic collaboration with Selfridges in this exciting new chapter for the brand." For the pop-up’s design and installation, Aeyde commissioned London-based interior design and gallerist Max Radford whose extensive body of work with other creative collectives and interdisciplinary artists tallies with that of Aeyde’s signature aesthetic inspired by Bauhaus and Brutalism, concepts of modernity and minimalism, and form and function. The Aeyde x Selfridges Pop-Up is available in Selfridges on London’s Oxford Street for a limited period only.

Today, Aeyde launches its High Summer 2024 Kollektion with a campaign lensed by photographer and interdisciplinary artist Rita Lino. In “The Performance,” we showcase footwear and accessories as seamless extensions of the body, capturing them on dancer Yvonne Wadewitz while concluding the Spring/Summer 2024 commissioning period. Aeyde’s High Summer 2024 Kollektion forges the thread between new footwear and the house’s established codes, launching inherently sensual footwear—Franzi, Paige, Penny, and Riva—designed with signature details. We're proud to announce that on Thursday, April 25, TextilWirtschaft recognized Aeyde with the TW Forum Award 2024 for its "groundbreaking concepts, fascinating brand charisma, and brand loyalty.” As a team, we're humbled by this award and were honored to receive it in the company of other prestigious brands and 2024 winners showcasing Germany's design industry. Speaking on the night, founder and CEO Luisa Dames said, “We launched the brand with 15 pairs of ankle boots, and today, I’m looking at an assortment of 500 pairs of shoes. I’m super proud and amazed to see how, from a small inception point, we’ve now entered a global scene with what we’re doing.” Once again, we would like to thank the TextilWirtschaft for this recognition and, as always, to thank the Aeyde community and customers who made this possible.

Today, we release our main SS24 Kollektion with an accompanying editorial that pays homage to the Aeyde community and the women who inspire the brand. "The Collective" features model and performance artist Lily McMenamy, model and photographer Nella Ngingo, and model and artist Adina Fohlin. Lensed by photographer Walter Pierre in Nonnendamm (a small island in the middle of Berlin comprised of factories-turned-artist studios), the collection showcases new sandals—including the platform Katalin, utilitarian Thekla, and chic Stina—in directional silhouettes.
