And by presenting, I mean sparking the same excitement that we feel! Here’s just a brief insight: Contrasting textures and fresh colors give the collection a charming versatility with nonchalance. Deep navy to vibrant cobalt determine the palette of blues, which is complemented by soft natural tones and eye-catching stripes. Every member of the team has put their heart and soul into this.     Not your average Sales Meeting. Our international Sales Meetings mark the handover of the collection from design to sales. For this we put in great effort to ensure that we engage our teams not only conceptually, but also emotionally. It's a cherished ritual to start these meetings by welcoming each country's sales team with a big round of applause before reflecting on the past season and talking strategy for the upcoming. Our design teams present the stunning new collection, while our marketing team gives a sneak peek at the exciting new campaigns ahead. (stay tuned!)     IT'S STILL ON US: Store Manager Meeting 2024   It was finally time for our 115 Marc O'Polo store managers from the retail and outlet sectors to meet again for a two-day session at our Campus in Stephanskirchen. Among other things, they reviewed the past business year, talked about the highlights and discussed possible potentials for the future. They received updates from the various specialist departments such as HR, Sustainability and Marketing. There were also a slot where our CEO Maximilian Böck and COS Dr. Dirk Schneider were on site to welcome everyone and to answer their questions on current issues. The evening barbecue at the Simsseer brewery helped to build the team spirit. Something to build on for the Bavarian Games that took place the next day and that required a great deal of skill. The teams competed in a variety of events including cup pushing, biathlon, hat throwing and wheelbarrow driving. Thank you to everyone who made these two days so very special. #marcopolo #team #retail #itsonus

    NEW FLAGSHIP STORE WITH "NORDICS LIFESTYLE" CONCEPT IN CHENGDU   Recently we opened together with our partner Senrui our new flagship store in Chengdu one of the most dynamic developing cities in China. It is our sixth store in this city, located in the Taikoo Li shopping district, one of the most interesting shopping areas in China. A special highlight of the opening was the traditional lion ceremony. Senrui CEO Saiyou and Marc O'Polo Sales Director International East, Massimo Francese painted the eyes of the lions with red colour to symbolically breathe life into them. The awakened lions then danced around the store and the guests to create a festive and auspicious atmosphere. In the afternoon the Franchise partners met for a partner day.     TRAINEE " TAKEO’VER" IN LEIPZIG AND WÜRZBURG Exciting times at Marc O'Polo! Our 2nd year retail apprentices just completed their "TAKEO'VER" project, taking full responsibility of our Leipzig and Würzburg stores on June 18th and 19th. This project was a friendly challenge between the two teams, each striving to deliver the best customer experience. Customers enjoyed giveaways, drinks, snacks, and had the pleasure of meeting our enthusiastic apprentices. We're eager to see which team will come out on top! A big thank you to all our apprentices and the dedicated trainers Susann Schönherr, Cecilia Goldstein, and Cornelia Fries for their hard work and support.
