  Revolution in fuel cell inspection: top performance in 3D substrate analysis! A new SPEEDCube has just left the Wickon Hightech factory and is now ready for use as an AOI system for the 3D inspection of ceramic electrolytes, which play a central role in the manufacture of fuel cells. The SPEEDCube 8/12.5/0.7 is specially designed for this requirement and achieves 8,192 pixels in width. The camera system works with a lateral resolution of 12.5 µm and a height resolution of 1 µm @6 sigma. The cycle time is 6 seconds for substrates measuring 100 mm x 120 mm. In order to monitor the height structure of the paste print, the substrate must be detected completely flat. To achieve this, the test objects are smoothed over their entire surface using a vacuum table during the inspection. Wickon Hightech has developed an innovative adaptation of the walking beam system for this purpose, once again underlining its position as one of the world's leading AOI suppliers. #aoi #manufacturing #electronic #electronicinspection
