I started learning to cook when I lived in Japan, because I had an unrelenting craving for bleu cheese dressing, which was very very hard to find in Japan in the 80s. I love cuisines from all over the world. I recently started baking bread, something that terrified and defied me for years. But I’m getting better at it; it’s a bit of an obsession now.
I live with my husband, Mark, one Cairn terrier (think Toto) named Max, and one beagle named Bugsy (we call him Noodle, though) in Las Vegas. The dogs are still puppies and they hate each other, so my life is currently about keeping them separate!
I have aspirations to become a private chef, and I’m currently writing a set of short cookbooks to epublish. I love forums like these, because I have so very many questions!
