The European Union’s End-of-Life Vehicle (ELV) Directive is setting impressive sustainability targets for the future of automotive production. By 2030, EU vehicle manufacturers must source 25% of their plastics from post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials. What’s even more groundbreaking? The directive requires a quarter of this recycled content to come from circular or closed-loop streams, specifically within the automotive industry. This initiative not only supports environmental sustainability but also promotes innovative material development - just like our reSound™ REC AF 7210 Series TPEs.
