Software Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f)

As a software quality assurance engineer, you will be part of a small pluri-disciplinary development team of 10 engineers, dedicated to the development of a complete surgical robotic system. You are a self-starter, detail oriented, organized and deadline driven. You also have strong communication skills, a “roll your sleeves up” mentality and be able to work in an Agile structure with changing priorities

Your responsibilities:

• Software verification and validation for medical devices.

• Definition, implementation, execution and documentation of software test procedures.

• Supervision of team’s compliance with company’ software development procedure.

• Object oriented design and programming.

• Complete software development environment (version control, tool chains, documentation tools)

To be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

• Higher education (HES, EPF)

• 1 – 3 years or more of experience in a similar role in an international, matrixed and fast-growing environment.

• Test-driven programming.

• Medical device or life sciences experience are an asset.

• Proficient in both spoken and written English and French, or willingness to improve it. Important note: you will be interacting with English speaking colleagues located in the USA and Europe daily. • You are willing to relocate to Lausanne, Switzerland area.
