𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀 (𝗟𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲) 🌟 On the final day of its tour in Switzerland, the #Japanese Delegation of the #SwissBiotechDay embarked on an enriching journey in and around #Lausanne. Giovanni Porcellana extended a warm welcome to the delegation and provided insights into the #WesternSwitzerland Innovation Ecosystem. Frederic Reymond of Innovaud elaborated on the business conditions and the vibrant life science ecosystem in Canton of #Vaud. Eric Bouchardy showcased concrete collaboration cases with Japanese companies before engaging the delegation in fruitful networking sessions with #Swiss speakers. Following a brief bus ride, the delegation arrived at PULSE, where Florian Sven Wengeler and Quentin Armand introduced and guided the group through the cutting-edge building set to host life science companies of all sizes. From August 2024, PULSE will offer tailor-made laboratory, manufacturing, and office space under one roof. The day's final stop led the delegation to Biopôle Lausanne, where they were warmly greeted by Pierre-Jean Wipff, Director of Innovation and Partnerships. Emanuel Schmid-Siegert and Bulak Arpat of NGS-Al, an affiliate of JSR Life Sciences, delivered insightful presentations, followed by a comprehensive tour of Biopôle. The tour included startup pitches by Pénélope Andreux of Vandria SA at the Superlab Suisse, Julian Englert of Adaptyv Bio at the StartLab, and Frederik Plourde of Neuria Digital Therapeutics at the Digital Health Hub.
