🙏🏻Honored to have been part of the Club degli Investitori visit hosted by Wyss Zurich! These events make it possible for us to share our #mission with people who can help us on our #journey to success 💪🏻 We look forward to the connections made and future collaborations! 🚀💡 #startupjourney #innovation #communitybuilding
Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting a small business delegation from the Club degli Investitori based in Torino, Italy✨ The delegation was given an overview of Wyss Zurich. Isabella Martini, Community Manager explained our mission, structure and how we are part of the larger #startup ecosystem in Switzerland. Representatives from our projects, MYNERVA - Greta Preatoni, Nanoflex (Nanoflex Robotics ) - Matteo De Donatis and Alice Segato and Liver4Life (Apersys AG) - Andrea Venturato, had the opportunity to introduce their innovative technologies and their progress in the #startupjourney🚀 Additionally, Joni Rakipi, from ETH Entrepreneurship, had the chance to share about the organization's role in #academia and the #startupcommunity in Zurich and Switzerland. The visit concluded with a final presentation from Cristina Rossi, CEO and Co-Founder of b-rayZ, a spin-off from the Universitätsspital Zürich. We hope that those who participated managed to foster new, lasting connections and were inspired by the depths of the unknown in #science.💡 See below for some impressions of the visit👇 #wysszurich #wysszurichprojects #innovation #deeptech #comunitybuilding #investorrelations

🤔What were we up to last week? We did a #teambuilding, of course! 💪🏻 The task was simple: with a set budget, get any food item(s) you want! 🥦 Use all bought produce in some way in the meals. The trick: no talking amongst each other, no collusion! 🤐 Before starting, we took 10minutes to explain how we wanted the food prepared 🍝 We change cooks every 5 minutes, there is no talking between cooks, and ALL produce must be used in some part of the meal.🧑🏻🍳 How did we do? See for yourself! 👇🏻 We made saltimbocca (the only dish with a name), lentils and beans coconut curry, salmon and mushroom noodles, broccoli in garlic-balsamic vinaigrette, and mango-bacon sauce (better than you think). Some meal items were planned, but having the no-talking-between-cooks rule made the challenge a lot harder! How well do you adapt to unexpected scenarios? How well do you work under pressure? One of the main things we learned form our team building is to trust one another, be flexible enough to adapt to others' working (cooking) styles, and keep moving forward, because even if you spent your 5 cooking minutes chopping vegetables or cleaning up the station, it doesn't mean you didn't contribute to the final product 🥩🥘🍛 #cookingchallenge #startup #team #building Wyss Zurich Greta Preatoni Robert John Dunja Cekić Luigi Carotenuto

Curious to hear🎙️about how we tackle #NeuropathicPain in #DPN? 🤓 Check out the #podcast episode below👇🏻 which we did with the wonderful Aleksandra Jani, MCIM over at X-Health.show Thank you for having us and allowing us to share our exciting #journey with your listeners! ✨ #startup #diabetes #ethz Wyss Zurich
How do you feel when, after 15 years, you may feel your feet again? Not have to hold on to the railing when climbing the stairs? And walk straight without looking at your feet? We’re speaking diabetic neuropathy. “The loss of sensation, since there's nothing around, is really not treated,” Greta Preatoni, the CEO of MYNERVA, says on the new X-Health.show episode. “There’s nothing that the doctors can prescribe to the patients to improve the quality of life. And our mission, our vision has always been… even also my purpose in life is to help some patients by using technologies that merge science and a translational approach. So this is really what we wanted to do. And we developed this device. And then we tested it in clinical trials. And I had my aha moment the first time I saw a patient use it, I'd see her walking in a straight line without any sort of training. And for me, this was just completely astonishing.” MYNERVA is an early-stage Swiss startup, a spin-off of the ETH Zurich. They develop a pleasant, non-invasive nerve stimulation device for people with diabetic neuropathy to kill pain and walk without problems. In the form of an AI-supported sock. If you’re curious, 🧦 how does the smart sock work 🧠how do neural networks come back to live 👥👥👥 how many (millions!) of people it may save from pain go to – the link in the comments #diabetes #diabeticneuropathy #healthcareinnovation #medtech #futureofhealthcare #swissstartups #xhealth Wyss Zurich Buzzsprout

🔵⚪️Zürich is the biggest city in Switzerland, and home of ETH and UZH. ⏲ One of our favourite fun fact about Zürich is that St. Peter's Church's clock on the tower is the largest in Europe and the dial has a diameter of 8.7 metres (and this is the only baroque church in the city).
