A truly enriching day yesterday at the GFN member assembly! 🌟 A special thank you to Swiss Envoy for Sustainable Finance of the State Secretariat for International Finance SIF, Christoph Baumann for sharing his invaluable insights during a members-only interview and discussion. His perspectives on domestic and global climate policy, climate negotiations, and the related dynamics were illuminating. 🌍 The session, expertly moderated by Natascha Lander, offered deep dives into complex topics that are crucial for our understanding and actions in sustainable finance. Our heartfelt gratitude to radicant bank for hosting us. The contributions from radicant's CEO Anton Stadelmann and Dr. Marta Ra greatly framed our discussions, and the apero on the roof terrace overlooking Zurich was simply beautiful. Thank you for your generous hospitality! 🏢🍇 The member assembly, led by GFN President Gerrit Sindermann, Vice President Gwen Jettain, and Managing Director Byung Jun Kim, was a dynamic gathering where we reflected on the first half, and gave an outlook for the second half of 2024. We celebrated new members and congratulated Jelena Jakovleva of SIX, Darko Stefanoski of EY, and Miles Austin of HYPHEN GLOBAL AG on their election to the board. 🎉 We also bid farewell to departing board members Janine Hofer-Wittwer, CFA (Mazars) and Stephan Geiger (EY), whose contributions have been invaluable.
