In 2024, we're focused on getting back to what we do best: building innovative technology 🦅 The speed at which governance models can adapt is a problem we're hungry to overcome Here's how we plan to achieve that, minted on Polygon using Mirror: https://lnkd.in/g3btjdQq

Info
Firms or companies exist in order to create value by using resources to create products or provide services. However, intermediaries and third parties such as governments decrease the output of those organizations by imposing restrictions and creating complex regulatory frameworks. Aragon was born to disintermediate the creation and maintenance of companies and other organizational structures. We were very inspired by Nobel prize Ronald Coase and his amazing paper The Nature of the Firm and Yochai Benkler's Linux and the Nature of the Firm. Both explore the concept of company. We believe that blockchain and the Internet are changing the incentives structure for companies to exist, and we are building tools for the next generation of companies that will take advantage of these changes.

We recently had the privilege of discussing the transformative potential of DAOs (Decentralized Autonomous Organizations) with Anthony Leutenegger, CEO of Aragon at ETHDublin. Watch our full podcast at the link - https://lnkd.in/eHsrN2pk. In the video reel below, we share with you a little glimpse of the conversation with Anthony where Anthony tells us about his role at Aragon and What are DAOs. Anthony, CEO of Aragon, is leading the charge in revolutionizing governance through DAOs on Ethereum and we ask Anthony about Life as a CEO where Anthony reflects on MVV, Mission, Vision and Value aspects. Aragon’s pioneering DAO framework has empowered projects like Lido and Decentraland, managing over $40 billion in assets securely. Anthony emphasizes DAOs’ role in decentralizing control, safeguarding assets, and ensuring transparency without intermediaries. As Aragon advances, Anthony remains focused on enabling global experimentation in governance, driving innovation, and fostering community growth in blockchain technology. #BlockchainTechnology #DecentralizedGovernance #DAOs #InnovationInTech #AragonCEO #Ethereum #FutureOfGovernance #EthDublin #CSVentures #podcasts

Welcome to onchain governance Openmesh! We're excited to see a talent marketplace built with Aragon OSx, bringing developers and projects together with secure, transparent payments.
Building the World's First Upwork for Web3 on Aragon! We're thrilled to expand on how OpenR&D is leveraging Aragon’s on-chain governance! After two years of dedicated work, we’re set to advance Web3 development by providing a secure and transparent environment for developers. What is a DAO? A Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) is a self-governing entity where members make decisions through a transparent voting system, ensuring democratic and immutable operations via blockchain smart contracts. Two Years of Building an Upwork for Web3 We've created a platform similar to Upwork but tailored for Web3. By leveraging Aragon's DAO technology, OpenR&D provides secure, escrowed payments for every task, lowering the barriers for developers entering the Web3 space. OpenR&D: The Backbone of Openmesh’s DAO OpenR&D ensures fair and transparent compensation for all contributions, using smart contracts to automatically release payments upon task completion. This system mitigates risks and centralization associated with traditional freelancing platforms. Why Aragon? Aragon's modular on-chain governance framework ensures transparency and security in all decisions and actions, fostering trust within our growing community. This powerful foundation supports our goal of democratizing resource allocation and facilitating secure payments through OpenR&D.
