Last year, we received a visit from Bloomberg during the construction of Mvule Gardens, our affordable 3D-printed housing project located in Kilifi on the Kenyan coast. The TV crew came to report on "Building the Future of Housing," focusing on innovative ways to address the housing crisis with a lower environmental footprint. Our on-site team was surprised to discover that Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, the legendary Jaime Lannister from Game Of Thrones ⚔️, was part of the film crew as the lead journalist! And as Nikolaj says in the documentary, "We need to build a lot, cheaper and faster, and more sustainably." So during this two-day visit, our team was proud to show the 3D-printing of affordable houses in real construction conditions, demonstrating that the technology is ready to build more efficiently, on large scale.
