CamSam - Radar Detector

CamSam - Radar Detector is an app that turns your mobile phone into a highway radar detector that lets you know ahead of time if there's a speed camera coming up so you won't be caught by surprise, which could be expensive if you're going faster than normal (which you really shouldn't be doing, by the way).

The app comes with a database of over 47,000 radar traps and it will let you know when you come near one of them. Plus, it updates frequently so that new speed traps never catch you by surprise.

When letting you know, the app uses voice notifications to indicate the type of radar and the speed limit, so you won’t get distracted by looking at the screen. Or you can also activate visual notifications so that your copilot is then in charge of letting you know about upcoming speed cameras.

A very interesting detail is that it also lets users add radar traps with a simple tap of the screen, thus allowing you to contribute to the database in case any cameras have slipped the app.

CamSam - Radar Detector is a very useful app for users who frequently travel by road and who want to avoid tickets. Now you can always know where you can’t go over the speed limit even a little bit. Even though speeding is something you should NOT be doing, obviously.
