Last Friday, Joe, Sameer, and I participated in the 2024 International Quantum Strategy Day. As part of the competition, we created a strategic roadmap with recommendations to promote the commercial adoption of quantum solutions, including optimization and fraud detection use cases. We also dove deep on geopolitical preferences for quantum key distribution and its implications for the adoption of lattice-based post-quantum cryptography. It was a fun exercise and I learned a lot from the other teams, especially this year's winners, QURECA. Thanks again to Brian and Danika for organizing the event!

We're celebrating! 🎉 We've won the Quantum Strategy Institute's Stratethon for the International Quantum Strategy Day (IQSD) event thanks to our quantum technology map based on Fraud Detection, since is vital to safeguard assets, reputation, and maintain trust in commercial transactions. It's been a great honor to participate in the IQSD alongside my colleagues Richard Kienhoefer Abhishek Purohit and Simon Armstrong; Certainly, an incredibly enriching experience. I would also like to congratulate and thank the rest of the participating teams for such extraordinary work. Undoubtedly, the court had a very tough decision to make. As part of the prize we will have access to #TQ42, Terra Quantum's cutting-edge quantum computing platform, what an incredible opportunity to test the cutting-edge algorithms firsthand!. On another note, I'm thrilled to see quantum computing initiatives from around the globe move forward, and quantum computing gaining more visibility each day because it's an inevitable yet illuminating technology. I'd like to congratulate the Quantum Strategy Institute for their initiative in this Stratethon; it's a brilliant way not only to encourage the quantum community to explore and apply their knowledge but also for different entities to incorporate applications and solutions to their problems for a more secure infrastructure. Tasmania's Quantum Summit - Innovation Down Under Yesterday (or was it today - Australian Time?) QSI had the opportunity to present to the audience of the Tasmania Quantum Summit, (https://lnkd.in/gxPtev8X) whose broad diversity of program topics make it a compelling quantum summit to attend (in person or virtually). Topics included Australia's National Quantum Strategy, policy, local implications, security and much more.
