Today as we proudly mark National Indigenous Peoples Day, we recognize the value of building strong and mutually beneficial relationships with local and indigenous communities. June 8 was #WorldOceanDay 🌊, an opportunity to raise awareness of the benefits oceans provide for us and what we can do to help keep them healthy. ❓ Did you know that two centuries ago, the seabed of the Dutch North Sea was covered with large oyster reefs? Now, they are hard to find and nearly extinct due to overfishing, disease and cold winters. That’s why we’ve partnered with The Rich North Sea to help restore one of the largest oyster reefs that once existed in the North Sea. Happy World Environment Day! 🌎 This year’s theme is #GenerationRestoration, highlighting the importance of land restoration, drought resilience and soil regeneration.
