With two weeks left for the submission deadline, there’s still time to complete the Corus.Futures Scholarship and Internship program application!   Three scholarship and internship opportunities in social marketing, radio and television broadcast are available for students from underrepresented communities who are in their final year of post-secondary studies in September 2024. Along with tuition assistance (up to $5,000), recipients also receive a three-month paid internship and mentorship with a Corus leader. Deadline to apply is May 31, 2024. We recently welcomed students Naira and Lia to our head office Corus Quay in Toronto for the Seat Share initiative in partnership with Plan International Canada’s #GirlsBelongHere program. The day included a series of meaningful conversations with senior leaders across the business including Barb Mckergow, Senior Vice President, Advertising Revenue, and introductions with people from our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and Original Content teams. The Seat Share initiative creates meaningful opportunities for young people between the ages of 14 to 24 to step into leadership roles. 

In recognition of National Volunteer Week, we are celebrating the collective actions of our Corus volunteers who share their time, talent and energy to build strong communities.   From mental health support and fostering animals to food bank assistance and environmental advocacy, #EveryMomentMatters with every volunteer commitment.
