Piya Chattopadhyay, host of CBC Radio's The Sunday Magazine, speaks with Toronto Metropolitan University Professor April Lindgren, Juanita Taylor, Senior Reporter for CBC News Network, journalist and publisher Mohsin Abbas and Nicholas Hune-Brown, Executive Editor of The Local, about the vital role that local news plays, the challenges and rewards of telling local stories, and new ideas and strategies emerging to enhance local journalism.

An initiative like this one, which allows us to better serve Canadians with news that matters to them, is definitely worth celebrating. Congratulations to all involved!

Cette semaine nous avons célébré le Mois du patrimoine asiatique à travers une nouvelle édition Nouvelles voix. 🎙 Un événement qui a pour objectif d’outiller nos contributeurs de contenus pour avoir plus de diversité de voix dans nos écrans et sur nos ondes. 📢 Une nouvelle édition qui nous a permis de découvrir des voix expertes asiatiques. Merci à Ravy Por, ICD.D, Rachel Cheng, Ling Jiang, Dr Viet Tra, Laetitia Vu, et Sandy pour leur partage généreux et inspirant.  Cet  échange a été mené par notre collègue Chan Tep appuyée par la recherchiste Diamond Yao.
