Project Highlight - Brock Commons, University of British Columbia! The tallest mass timber building in the world was recently constructed on the University of British Columbia's campus, with an emphasis on being sustainable, versatile, and lightweight. This new residence building used an estimated 1.1 million square feet of ULIX board and as a result, the building weighs approximately 506,000 pounds less than if it were built using our standard 5/8 inch CGC Sheetrock® Type X!
