"So, together with Arthur Oliveira, Marlon Pereira, and Eric Pereira, we focused on improving our pass rates, achieving a remarkable 95% in Level 2 and Introductory Well Control courses." 👨🏫 Wbirajara’s classes are diverse and engaging, with an average of five attendees per session. They cover basic math and introductory theories and encourage interactive learning. 🌊 Recently, the #WestAuriga underwent significant enhancements as it prepares to operate in Brazil. Part of this transformation involved replacing its BOP (Blowout Preventer) stacks. Here’s a glimpse into just a few of the vital steps involved in this huge task: 🛠️ BOP Logistics and Operations: The stacks were meticulously removed from the West Auriga at Pascagoula shipyard, transported to our Seadrill Port of Iberia (PONI) facility, and stored indoors using hydraulic dollies. Each section, weighing approximately 250 tons, required careful handling to ensure safe and efficient transfer. 🌟 Storage Innovation: Notably, Seadrill is pioneering indoor storage of BOP stacks at our Free Trade Zone site within PONI. This innovation underscores our commitment to preserving equipment integrity and reducing costs, saving over $2M in BOP build costs. 🔍 Future Readiness: These stacks will now support our fleet by serving as critical rig spares, maintained and ready for the next Special Periodic Survey (SPS).
