$\begingroup$ Your Clip End (see in the top right of the 3D Viewport) is ridiculously high at 1111111125 m. Read more about it in the manual here: Depth Buffer Glitches or in one of the many answers on this topic on this site, for example: Glitchy Shadow effect, Why is my viewport glitching in orthographic view and not in perspective view $\endgroup$– Gordon BrinkmannCommented Apr 12 at 7:51

$\begingroup$ Hello and welcome. Please use a title that matches the content of the post. It should read like a question, be descriptive but succinct, unique and identifying, summarizing the problem so that anyone searching for similar issues is likely to find this. Remove anything superfluous, avoid using words like "this", "help with", "issue" or "question about", instead describe what "it" is. Remember, your title is the first thing visitors see, answers you get depend heavily on it. See What is the problem of asking “How do I do this?" $\endgroup$– Duarte Farrajota Ramos ♦Commented Apr 12 at 8:19

$\begingroup$ The values make no difference to this. Local view swapping also shows everything for a split second then the screen goes grey apart from the 3d cursor..... how do I post the file? $\endgroup$– Tony SandsCommented Apr 12 at 8:31

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. cycles-render-engine), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
