Aug 3, 2023 at 1:34 | comment | added | Harry McKenzie♦ | very interesting approach with the instancing! never thought of this. it's easy to align everything to view as shown in gif but tricky to get the xyz's right, i had to do trial and error with different xyz rotations. it always got messed up after parenting then finally i was able to get the right order of xyz's. How does the parenting actually work in this scenario? Why would it behave like that if you parent the single face to the dodecahedron? | |
