In terms of cycling:
4200 miles over the past year, mostly on a 2002 Trek 2200 Road Bike with various "Frankenbike" additions (Chris King Headset, Deore MTB rear derailleur since I couldn't find a long cage to replace my broken Ultegra after a crash, etc...) Favorite rides last year were the RAIN and Hilly Hundred, looking forward to them both again this year as well as working on some longer Randonneur rides.
My second favorite ride is an old KHS Hybrid with a Trail-a-bike that my 8 year old daughter loves to ride and sing. (She's a master of most of Queen's repertoire as well as Train and a number of others...) We got in about 800 miles together last year and are looking for a used tandem this year as she's outgrowing the trailer rig.
As of 2012, my two older daughters (16 & 15) are budding roadies, with us having put everything we could find on CraigsList and visited Mr. Amex to get them each a Specialized Dolce. Family rides are now set to get interesting!
In life, I'm a 44 year old former Rugby player who still carries about 235 pounds and should be 220. Maybe this season I'll get there. My wife and I own a small business (Candle Manufacturer) and work way too many hours, but at least it's ours. We're hosting a weekly CIBA (Central Indiana Bicycling Association) ride this year that starts/ends at our shop where we have bathroom/mechanic stand/pump/tools, etc.
