Als tweede grootste eventlocatie in België verwelkomt Flanders Expo jaarlijks meer dan één miljoen bezoekers tijdens publieke en corporate events, seminaries en congressen, culturele activiteiten, sportmanifestaties, outdoor events, beurzen... Net buiten hartje Gent én uitstekend bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer is Flanders Expo dan ook jouw ideale eventlocatie. Met een oppervlakte van meer dan 63.000 m2 biedt Flanders Expo je een brede waaier aan verschillende multi-inzetbare ruimtes. Zo heb je de keuze uit acht eventhallen, vier polyvalente ruimtes, een gezellige foyer en een stijlvolle, multifunctionele blackbox. In 1-2-3 aangepast aan jouw noden, wensen en ideeën! Flanders Expo maakt deel uit van Easyfairs, dat 110 evenementen organiseert en acht evenementenlocaties in België, Nederland en Zweden (Antwerpen, Gent, Mechelen, Namen, Gorinchem, Hardenberg, Malmö en Stockholm) beheert. Ons doel? Communities samenbrengen onder het motto 'Visit the future'.

    🔍 Tijdens de werken aan het #ExpoPark op onze site werden enkele opmerkelijke restanten uit de Romeinse tijd ontdekt. Met behulp van een kleine kraan onderzochten de archeologen de grootste (paal)sporen. De vele diepe kuilen die de Romeinen groeven om houten balken in te plaatsen als fundering duiden op de aanwezigheid van typische, grote boerderijen uit die tijd. Dankzij de gevonden wetsteen, een steen waarmee de Romeinen metaal slepen, weten we zeker dat de vondsten uit de Romeinse tijd dateren. Nu de opgravingen afgerond zijn, gaan de werken aan het Expo Park gewoon verder. De geplande oplevering in oktober blijft dan ook behouden. ➡️ Meer weten?     📢 In 2024, our sustainability journey continues, including the construction of the #ExpoPark on the site of Flanders Expo. To this end, Easyfairs is investing 4.8 million euros. This project involves the redevelopment of the area around and between the halls of #FlandersExpo transforming it into a logistic and multifunctional sustainable zone that aligns with the broader objective of Flanders Expo as a sustainable multi-format event venue. ✅ Enhanced mobility The road reconstruction around and between the halls will streamline logistical transport, including the setup and dismantling of events, ensuring smoother operations. Also, the continued rollout of digital signage is planned. ✅ Sustainable development We focus on water management and recovery, and the use of energy and materials. For example, the plans include a green periphery with trees, hedges, and wadis for rainwater infiltration. ✅ Multi-format event venue The development of the Expo Park is integral to the long-term sustainable functioning of Flanders Expo.     Wist je dat... Flanders Expo in 1987 speciaal gebouwd werd voor de technologiebeurs #FlandersTechnologyInternational op de terreinen van het pas gesloten vliegveld Sint-Denijs-Westrem? Anno 2024 komt Flanders Technology & Innovation terug! Want Vlaanderen blijft een broeinest van technologische creativiteit en innovatieve ideeën. Van 16 t.e.m. 21 maart doet Gent historisch dienst al dé plaats bij uitstek: de beurs vindt plaats op verschillende locaties in onze stad, onder andere in onze hallen. Zo bundelt FTI Gent de krachten met inspire health&care, hét ontmoetingsplatform voor zorg en welzijn dat van 19 t.e.m. 21 maart 2024 in Flanders Expo plaatsvindt. Drie dagen lang worden er keynotes en talks (met o.a. Lieven Scheire) gehouden over relevante ontwikkelingen en innovaties in de health tech. Met het behalen van de Green Key engageren we ons om een ambitieus duurzaamheidsbeleid te voeren.
