We are happy to announce that we are now part of the Aerospace-X project!   Aerospace-X is a collaboration between 30 companies, associations and research institutes, in which Airbus Operations GmbH is taking the lead.  The "Aerospace-X" consortium intends to establish an open, collaborative data network for the global aviation industry. This will transform the currently not consistently digital supply chain landscape into a new end-to-end ecosystem with partners and to enable a new form of collaborative value creation to: 🔹 Boost the resilience and speed/ability of adaptation, 🔹 Increase the sustainability and conformity with regulations, 🔹 Improve the transparency to optimize processes and data-based decision-making, 🔹 Increase the efficiency through preventive E2E quality management, 🔹 Create the foundation for a collaborative, data-based value creation.   We are proud to be participating as a partner in this project, which has special attention to sustainability, by focusing on our existing carbon footprint and our approach towards lifecycle analysis. #AerospaceX #DataNetwork #Aviation #Sustainability Montana Aerospace

We are delighted to announce that we have successfully integrated a state-of-the-art production line, at our headquarters in Zaventem! 🆕 Our new line consists of 2 Makino a800Z machines in FMS (Flexible Manufacturing System). The FAT (Final Acceptance Tests) on both machines were successfully done, so we are ready for take off! ✈ These new machines are a great extension of our already strong capability and efficiency. Last week we attended the first US Roadshow organized by Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) and Agoria-FLAG With 9 other companies we visited Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Dallas, General Atomics in San Diego and Northrop Grumman also in San Diego. The biggest highlight was our participation in the Aerospace & Defense Supplier Summit Seattle (ADSS) in Seattle, hosted by Boeing & BCI Aerospace.   This roadshow was all about fostering innovation and collaboration between Flemish companies and the US aerospace sector.   #Aerospace #Innovation #Partnership #ADSS Andy Vanaerschot Montana Aerospace
