The Exciting Role:

We’re currently on the search for an outgoing, ambitious team player to join our Black Swan Team in the role of National Account Executive. This is an exciting permanent role based in our Mulgrave head office on a full-time basis. The position will play a pivotal role in providing support to the delivery of commercial and business objectives; by assisting across various tactical areas including category & commercial analysis, execution of sales initiatives and general support.


  • Developing and maintaining key customer relationships
  • Cross functional communication on product development and innovation initiatives
  • Provide support to the broader national account team in areas such as New Line submissions, promotional submissions and processing of claims.
  • Promotions management execution and implementation and review.
  • Develop conceptual layouts for priority categories as required
  • Executing major category initiatives to drive profitable sales growth
  • Managing customer profitability and spend effectiveness in-line with budget expectation.
  • Achieving budget objectives and providing revenue and spend forecasts
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis utilising market and/or shopper data to help in the achievement of range review objectives.


To Succeed With Us:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent Communication skills (Written, verbal, negotiation, interpersonal)
  • Ability to influence and negotiate
  • Customer focused and self motivated.
  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or Tertiary Qualification
  • Knowledge of Quantium and Nielsen databases advantageous.
  • Good organisational skills
  • Experience in Field, Trade Marketing, Marketing
  • Experience in selling and negotiation skills with FMCG products
