🚧 The 412 MW Goyder South Stage 1 wind farm is special in a lot of ways. One of them is its #talented people. We are proud of the incredible #construction workers GE Vernova Elecnor Australia who have been waking up early every day since we first broke ground, to construct this massive project !   We have officially poured all 75 concrete footings along with the installation of the first 22 turbines on site. Here’s a sneak peak of the sun & our 440 MWp Culcairn Solar Farm from this morning ! ☀ Construction is progressing rapidly thanks to our team Bouygues Construction Australia Equans Solar & Storage & the stewardship of our project manager Benjamin Benfredj. 👷♂️ Over 17,000 piles & the 1st set of trackers have already been installed on site, and civil works for the Transgrid Group switchyard are currently underway Lumea. We are ready to receive the 1st batch of PV modules this month and maintain this momentum as work ramps up. 🛠   #NSW #solar #construction #LTESA

I am thrilled to share today’s big news that Neoen and Brookfield are planning to accelerate the energy transition together. Neoen is already the largest independent renewable power producer in the world, with close to 10 GW of assets in operation, under construction or shovel-ready projects across 3 continents, and we are a world leader in battery storage. But we can do so much more! Brookfield can take us to the next level, in a very capital-intensive industry. There will be several steps before we can actually join forces. Neoen’s Board of Directors, and myself as Chairman, have expressed our unanimous support for this proposed transaction. Beginning the week with 3 major achievements from the team ! 🎉 📢 Our first big battery in Western Australia, Collie Battery, has won a second 4 hour capacity services contract with Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) 🔋 👏 📢 This will be delivered by Stage 2 of Collie Battery sized at 341 MW / 1,363 MWh for which we've provided 'notice to proceed' to our trusted construction partners Tesla and UGL 👷♂️ 👷♀️ 📢 This officially takes our Australian portfolio to 4 GW of capacity under construction or in operations ! 🎯 🥂 Many thanks to our host landowner Florian Popp, the Shire of Collie and Collie community as well as to Western Power for their support and commitment. Construction of our 238.5 MW / 477 MWh Blyth Battery has been progressing at an incredible pace. Two months ago, we welcomed our first delivery of CATL battery packs on site & now, our team Elecnor Australia NHOA Energy have finished installing over 900 of them ! 🔋🔋   We are grateful to the local communities in the town of Blyth & our project partners Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) BHP ElectraNet Pty Ltd for their ongoing support & trust.
