  • Meet Bailey, a second-year MTA apprentice training to become a Mobile Plant Technician at RMB Service Group in Wakefield. He’s passionate about cars, especially his Subaru Forester GT. 🚗 Bailey’s love for cars began early, inspired by his dad and three older brothers, all diesel mechanics who completed their training at the MTA. Following their example, he’s been working on cars since he was 11 years old and is looking forward to becoming a qualified technician. Bailey appreciates the variety in his apprenticeship, from gearboxes to trailers. “I love the hands-on work and the chance to work on different vehicles every day. No two days are the same,” he said.   • Supporting 👩💼 Championing 🏆 Advocating 📣 Like the MTA, SA Small Business Commissioner Nerissa Kilvert is in the corner of local small and family run businesses. That’s why it was great to have the Commissioner join our recent MTA Body Repair Specialists Division meeting. During her presentation, the Commissioner updated members on how she can support industry from within government. Members also received an update on her oversight of the Motor Vehicle Insurance and Repair Industry Code of Conduct which is mandated in South Australia with penalties for breaches. MTA Trainer Dan closed out the meeting with a tour of the latest facility upgrades at our Royal Park Training and Employment Centre.
