It's back to Britain for Episode 4 of MADE THIS: 'Home Sweet Home'. Maddy Leech invites us indoors to discuss her pathway from youth rider to elite cyclist as the rest of the group gears up for the return of the women's Tour of Britain. After a fallow year for the tour, the team are eager to push for results in front of an expectant crowd. But instead of the warm welcome on familiar roads, disaster strikes the first morning of the race. As national news of the unfortunate event breaks, the team are left wondering if they'll be able to compete or if this becomes a home visit to forget. What follows is a true act of human kindness and a gesture that symbolises the unifying bond of the women's pro peloton. Series powered by Wahoo. In this edition of Training Grounds, we explore San Francisco’s iconic streets and hills with Aymen El Gorani, the newest addition to Team Away Message. Aymen’s commitment to self-improvement is embodied in his mantra, "No one cares; work harder," driving him to excel in both his cycling and his social services career. Despite the demands of Ramadan, Aymen’s dedication remains unshaken, adjusting his routine to fit early morning rides. His favorite routes, from the social FatCake Thursday Loop to the challenging BoFax Climb, showcase the diversity of the Bay Area’s cycling terrain. Beyond training, Aymen cherishes the community, frequenting spots like The Coffee Movement and Brecks with fellow riders. For Aymen, cycling is more than a sport; it’s a means of unwinding and giving back. As he continues to push boundaries in San Francisco, his story is a testament to passion and perseverance. Help Wanted: An Alt_Road program supporting our planet's playgrounds and people in a series of environmentally conscious rides. Last year, we introduced the program to be a part of helping to protect and preserve the natural and wild spaces in which we all ride. This year, we will continue to focus and expand our efforts with partners and riders around the world. Here's a recap of our journey so far, knowing we still have so much further to go this year and the years to come. Ride I: British Columbia with @___diversion (IG). In support of BC Parks Foundation working to protect, enhance and sustain the region's parks, while inspiring and connecting people to them. Ride II: Iceland with Chris Burkard, @brietkristy (IG), @emilthor and @kriacycles (IG). In support of Jorfi, a local Icelandic non-profit specialising in glacier research and conservation. Ride III: Tasmania with Andy Rogers in support of the Bob Brown Foundation, campaigners against ongoing forest logging and the protection of wildlife in their natural habitats. A special shout out to all the riders and partners who've made this endeavour possible!

From the bustle of her city streets to rides further afield, LaLa always dials up the heat from somewhat balmy to full speed sizzling. Actress, synth musician and lead singer, she simply refuses to be boxed in and we love the beat of that tune. For out latest edition of Training Grounds, MAAP caught up with the Thai trailblazer in the Southeast Asian city of angels, where she loves nothing more than to rip in on her trusty Standert. A life around bikes: A statement. An ideology. A journey… ...With great stoke and celebration, we announce the opening of our second MAAP LaB and first European flagship in the heart of one of the world's greatest cycling capitals, Amsterdam. Uniquely positioned to intersect the city's legendary creative and cycling scenes, this space invites all to push the progression of cycling further while celebrating the existing and emerging creative athletes advancing the sport. MAAP LaB Amsterdam was created with a considered list of amenities to serve the local community. These include a coffee bar with beans supplied by international collective LOT61, a multi-functional mid-floor space offering ample opportunities for special events and visiting guest speakers, and an outside space boasting a canopy and mobile rack where riders can gather before one of the many curated weekly rides. "When originally building the blueprint for what we wanted MAAP LaBs to look like around the world, Amsterdam was one of the prime spots identified where cycling and the surrounding city culture combined seamlessly. A perfect fit for what we're looking to embody with each LaB store, connecting cycling culture with the community." – Oliver Cousins, MAAP co-founder. If you find yourself in the neighborhood, drop on by: REESTRAAT 9, 1016 DM AMSTERDAM  Opening hours: 10 AM - 6 PM Monday to Sunday Follow us on Instagram at @maap.lab.amsterdam to stay updated on upcoming Lab events, special guests, community rides, LaB.AMS exclusives, collaborations and more.
