📚 Green Roof Organisation (GRO) has collaborated with Tales from Mother Earth to create a beautiful book, "Journey to the Green Roof," aimed at educating children (and their families) about the benefits of green roofs. 🌟✨ Funded by GRO and GRO members, and wonderfully written and illustrated by Jenny and her team at Tales from Mother Earth, the book had expert input from Chris Bridgman and Dusty Gedge. All profits from the sales go into the GRO Educational Fund, supporting education within the green roof sector. 🎓🌱 "Journey to the Green Roof" is perfect for children aged 3 to 10, highlighting the benefits of living roofs from the perspective of insects. Follow Freya the hairy-footed flower bee and Sarah the European seven-spotted ladybird as they find food and shelter on a green roof. 🌱🏛️ The Bundesverband GebäudeGrün e. V. - BuGG team attended the "Environment Week" (Woche der Umwelt) at Bellevue Palace and met German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. Around 12,000 visitors accepted the invitation from the Federal President and the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU) to learn about topics such as climate neutrality, resource conservation, and biodiversity over the two-day course. The palace park was transformed into a tent and stage city where 190 exhibitors showcased their concepts and innovations. Bundesverband GebäudeGrün e.
