I have never, in well over 3 decades of IT work, experienced anything as painful and maddening as the hell I went through in 8 (and counting, it's not solved yet) consecutive 18-hour days of troubleshooting that it has required because I tried to figure out how to try to migrate a single debian package & its current settings from an old computer to a new one, and the 183 (literally, I counted) different Stack Overflow pages I consulted try to solve the problems that arose from, without so much as a single one of those pages ever providing a usable solution to a single problem they claimed to, and most of them actually resulting instead in causing brand-new errors that they don't mention how to deal with, causing me to seek solutions which I found on other Stack Overflow questions, which in turn fixed nothing and broke new things that I then had to troubleshoot. For 8 full days and night now.

And for those reasons, I'm out.
