The Chase: World Tour 12+

I rarely do reviews but this is amazing. It’s just like the show so if you’re a fan like me then it’s totally worth giving a go. Completely free with only 1 short ad following “The Chase”, so can’t complain there. It has all the same wonderful sound effects and music. All the Chasers too, even the American and Australian ones who I don’t know, so it’s good to discover new faces. The levelling up and unlocking system is great and keeps the player engaged. I totally recommend this app. I play it every day, have lots of fun, and learn new stuff!

I did give this 5 stars a few months ago, it was a very enjoyable game. But then things changed with this new update; energy has been added which actually limits any interaction that players have with the game. Before, you could play and use the app for hours a day if you wanted to. But now you are limited by energy. If you have deep pockets, you can buy it with your money. You can use gold to buy 200 in energy per day (but this will get expensive when you run out of gold). But assuming you had lots of gold; you can play 8 games at the max x50 multiplier per day. There isn’t any point in playing with a lower multiple so I can play 8 chases per day. 8. That’s about 20 mins play with the game I used to spend a lot more time on. And I am not going to pay hundreds of pounds per month to play this- it isn’t that good and nor am I that rich! The one question shoot out needs to give players the option once per week to win energy. Energy needs to be found in cases. If energy is the number one resource, then it needs to be realistically attainable otherwise people will turn off to this game very quickly. I have asked the support team to clarify if the half price chase event will mean that energy will be half price for that event and I don’t get a reply any more so the service level is also slipping. Sadly, this review will remain until these new issues are acknowledged or changed.

For an average player the game is perfect, but for someone like me I’ve noticed a few issues 1- The player XP reward for losing and winning is the same so win big once then just purposefully losing 10 games gets you the same XP, would be nice to have a XP multiplier for example…. 5 questions right gets you say a 2.5x XP boost to the base XP 2- The only reward comes from daily challenges, there’s no reward for playing for several hours after you’ve completed the challenges 3- a daily challenge of win X amount of money would be good have it scale to the place in the world you are, beginning world should be Earn 30k today. 4- for every win you should get sat 5 beast coins this would be 200 wins just to unlock him, and then even more games to level him up it’s a good way to keep the player base playing 5- player XP in the achievements tabs as a reward would be nice 6- increase the Max level players can be
