Reasonably Honest Mike's

Mike is great! I was having trouble with my electrical, Mike came by quickly and got me sorted out. I was very impressed with the quality of his work, his communication, and his fair pricing.

He will definitely be my first call for future issues!

Our office has gotten progressively dimmer over the years, to the point where I have to use a lamp on my desk. We have these awful florescent tube lights and we tried to change them ourselves but half of them didn't work (ballast issues).

It was getting out of hand so we contacted Mike and he got back to us promptly and we set a time that worked for the both of us. He showed up promptly, did exactly what we asked and did a great job. His rates were reasonable and we are all happy with his work - especially the bosses.

Mike has been our go-to person for numerous projects. Before we hired him the first time to replace an exterior light fixture, I had contacted him years before and he gave me free advice about replacing my wall heater. He suggested I would save money and was better off just buying a space heater instead of hiring him to fix the problem.

He recently did a great job installing floating wall shelves and was very respectful about maintaining a clean work surface.

One of my friends who was born and raised in SF recommended Mike when I mentioned we had some electrical issues at our place. I saw that we were in his service area and emailed him explaining the three problems we were experiencing and requested a quote.

Mike replied the same day with his rates (very reasonable). He also included his COVID protocols. He was clear that he could help with two of the issues and what the process would be like, but first he wanted us to try a couple of things before he came out.

It turns out that with his recommendations, we were able to fix the problems ourselves and save the money of having him come in person. He didn't charge anything for the advice. We really appreciate how straightforward and honest Mike is. We'll definitely contact him for any future electrical needs. We highly recommend him!

I see there hasn't been a review for Mike in almost a year. I've relied on him for his dependable, reasonably priced and honest service for well over five years. When he doesn't do a particular job, he's always found someone in his network who could help me. Mike is the best and I highly recommend him.

Mike's name says it--reasonable and honest, but that is not all. He is also helpful and funny. I don't want his name to be out there because I want to keep him to myself. But that wouldn't be reasonable of me, would it?

Use mikes service in the past and required his services again to check on a few small items for an apartment unit ( stove, disposal, light switch n doorbell). All repaired in a timely manner at reasonable prices.

Also very responsive with email replies and also take Venmo. Definitely recommend and will use again in the future.

I've used Mike for countless projects now... before every one, I get a quote from several different companies. He is always the most reasonable, and I trust him. I really appreciate how he is extremely honest about what he can/can't do. Like I said... I trust this guy and his rates are reasonable. He's not going to do a hack job at something he knows he can't do. I'd highly recommend him. Great pricing + quality work + honesty in abilities = best in SF.
PS- over all these years of doing projects for me, he never even mentioned his listing on Yelp (it never popped up for some reason), and never asked me to write a review. He is the real deal.

Responded quickly and with a reasonable quote just as mentioned in his name. This was towards the beginning of quarantine so I didn't get a chance to work with him, but his professionalism in his communication is by far the most reliable compared to the many, many places I've received estimates for and that speaks volumes to me. Some handymen picked up the phone with the "what do you want" attitude. Some said they were booked up for months. Some told me they needed to schedule multiple round of consultations etc. Some never returned my call. I've been looking for someone to help do some light remodeling, and if schedules free up I'm definitely reaching out to Mike again. Updates to come!

Reasonable Mike came by to install lots of wired w/ battery smoke alarms on various floors, and also explained a lot about effective fire safety practices for SF residents and homeowners & in this multi-unit building in particular.

He's very personable, cost and time efficient, and will be back for many other tasks using his skills. He also says what he can and can't do which i find builds trust quickly..
