I am a software engineer working on safety critical embedded systems for a living. My real passion lies in tinkering with electronics and robotics of all sorts. This usually includes (but is certainly not limited to) 3D printer, laser cutters, home automation, computer and electronics hacking and everything between.

I am a huge fan of Arduino and it's accomplishments in teaching electronics and programming, but I also have a large respect for getting down-and-dirty with an AVR and coding in C from the ground up.

I have developed a number of projects for a local theatre mainly for use with their lighting system, using the DMX-512 standard, as well as various control systems implementing fully custom, robust serial interfaces.
