Been obsessed with computers since the 1985 Tandy and began coding in QBASIC at the age of 8. There was something about programming that I was drawn to ... I wanted the knowledge which gave me the power to control computer systems, but I soon found another aspect of computers that I was drawn to ... more like "addicted to" ... Video Games.

Sadly enough, pissed away twenty years, at the least over stupid pixels arranged on a screen that I interacted with ... using the controller that I kept in my hand so often and SO much, I'd occasionally have to put band-aids over the blisters I'd worn into my thumbs.

While I still play PC games to this day, the addictive hold it once had on me must've gotten a bit dull over the course of 20 years - finally jaded enough by it that I no longer lose girlfriends and jobs as a result of the time I spend on it ... but the real step forward?

I now spend more of my spare time in a Python interpreter, not to mention enjoy it more! AND feel like I at least did something productive/constructive ... rather than putting all those years of my life into a damn SAVE FILE to a game!

Now I'm more drawn to DEVELOPING those games... not playing them!
