I am in a scenario where I need to disable my GPU to work on something. I want to be able to change screen brightness after disabling the GPU from device manager. Though, after disabling the GPU, I cannot find the options on power options. I even tried to use some command from command line to do it and it did not work. I wonder if it is possible to change the brightness in the manner I want. Note that I can change the brightness prior to disabling the GPU and the brightness level persists after disabling the GPU. Also, if I were to restart my PC with GPU disabled the brightness of the screen is set to 100%. I am using Windows 7.
