I am experiencing negative effects of RSI and am evaluating alternative keyboard layouts. The Arensito Keyboard Layout comes up frequently.

How can I use this layout on Windows?

Unfortunately, the homepage only provides for Linux xkb.

I have tried using Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator. It doesn't seem able to map AltGr to Space.

Similarly with AutoHotKey; I can't make Space into AltGr.

If a layout or script doesn't already exist, how can I map the modifier keys like AltGr using AutoHotKey?

Unfortunately this answer is a bit late, but there now exists a great tool for this called PowerToys. I tested it myself and it allowed for the remapping of Space with Alt(Left/Gr). You can use it in combination with other keyboard tools without conflict. I'm currently running it side-by-side with ReNeo.

While I don't use Arensito, I only found out about it after switching to 3l, which further reduces travel distance and has layers from Neo. Switched after six(6) years of Programmers Dvorak.

I pray that your RSI has healed and that you found a suitable / comfortable layout.

Thank you for the well-wishes! Indeed, I've mostly recovered. I sought professional medical advice (a physical therapist). I also learned stenography (Plover) and now use it exclusively. Commented Jun 21 at 7:53
