Coming back to cable. Haven't had cable since @Home was sold to AT&T. It's ok.

UPDATE: 1 year. Speed upgraded to 400 Mgb down. Reliable. Good.
The bad. A local ISP is offering 10Gig fiber for the same price as my current introductory price for
Xfinity. I'll keep it if I can keep my current rate.

Update #2 After moving locally my Xfinity service move went off perfectly. I plugged in the modem at my new residence
and it synced up immediately. Also noticed an upload upgrade as I'm now at 400 down/100 up at the same price.

Update #3 Mar. 2024 Starting at 300/10 2 years ago I just got the most recent speed upgrade. We're now at 500/100 with
provisioning gives me 550/120 Mbs. I had left cable when at&t broadband burned us with 1.5/128k. and raised the price.
This is awesome. Never thought I'd say that about the service.

Moving to cable after having fiber stinks

I feel your pain as I moved from having Verizon gigabit FIOS in my old apartment in Boston to Spectrum cable in my condo in Bradenton, FL. I had 100/10 speeds until September of 2022 when our bulk contract reset with Spectrum and now I have 500/20. The 500 is fast enough, but the 20 upload stinks. I can't wait for high spit upgrades to happen in Tampa Bay. I hope bulk contracts get the updated speeds and they deploy high split converters for us TiVo users. It sounds like Comcast works well for you. As long as you don't hit the data cap.
