Brands have jumped on board the emoji train over the past year or so. Fintech Intelligent Environments launched an emoji password function for banking apps, Dominos let customers order using a pizza emoji, and Wieden & Kennedy London created the "#EndangeredEmoji" campaign for the World Wildlife Fund. There's even a set of advertising emojis.
