Matthew Sommer awarded $60,000 grant from NEH

Matthew Sommer, the Bowman Family Professor and professor of history, has been awarded a grant of $60,000 from the National Endowment for the Humanities to fund a research project titled “Criminal Procedure in Eighteenth-Century China: The Qing Judiciary in Action.”
