Bootsplash (term) vs. Bootsplash (software)

Judging by what I read on Wikipedia, I believe there is a "bootsplash" in Linux which is a piece of software. But this article contains no information about it. I am completely in the dark about Linux, so... Fleet Command (talk) 07:28, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
