This CG has a walking trail to the Talkeetna which is great. A bunch of the sites are on the river. The sites are not numbered and all are first come first serve. The CG is kinda run down and could use some maintenance. Water is hand pumps.

"Dry Camping $25 Nightly. Great River View"

Dry camping sites, some tucked in the woods, several along the river. We had a nice area to walk to river’s edge from our site. Less than a 10 minute walk to town on a trail. If you are prepared to dry camp this place is a gem.
