I purchased the Charcoal Grey case when I purchased the iPhone X, and it is indeed a handsome case. Choosing a color at the time came down to if I wanted subtlety or flair. I chose the Charcoal as I wanted something that would patina slightly for a complex grey/black over time.
However, I was always intrigued by the Saddle Brown Leather case after seeing photos of how it ages so beautifully: from a rich, dark caramel when new, to Babe Ruth's baseball glove when broken in.
So, I ordered the Saddle Brown Leather Case.
It is beautiful right out of the box, and carries with it the most subtle oiled-baseball-mitt aroma. The fragrance doesn't last as this is very thin leather, but it smells of craftsmanship. The fit is perfect, it doesn't add much bulk to the sleek iPX, and it is the most beautiful case I can imagine on the Silver phone. The polished stainless peeks out at the bottom of the brown leather, making a sexy combination indeed. The buttons are quality and clicky. Some complain the leather cases are too slippery. Maybe a little at first but as your hand oils work the leather, the grip is perfection. The case slides in and out of pockets easily, but the phone won't fly out of your pocket while sitting as it may if the phone was naked.
I love the case now, and can't wait to see how the subtle scuffs and patina adds to the beauty over time. This is not an Otterbox: this case will protect against short drops and scratches, but don't expect miracles. If you trust yourself to have a beautiful, light duty case, I can't think of a better option from any manufacturer. IMO, well worth the $49.

I’ll have to say that I’m very impressed with this phone case. I was weary about dropping ~$50 on a phone case that seemed to have such a limited protection, but was pleasantly surprised at the quality level. The leather has a really nice texture and makes the phone feel very high quality and luxurious. I do warn that it will petina with age -as any leather phone case will, however when it gets scratched and marked up it darkens and adds to its texture. That being said, I do recommend a silicone case for when you want to get it wet or go to the gym. I’m personally comfortable with swapping out cases or taking it off if I want to film underwear and feel that purposely getting it wet will ruin the suede backing as well as the leather.The sides are well bolstered and offer better than expected drop protection, but it should be said that you will have to be careful handling the phone when using it moreso than an otter box case at half the price.Bottom line: buy this case if you desire a refined leather case to show off your high end phone, but also think about getting another case (Spigen) for dirtier uses

The leather case is nice because it's slim and it uses high-grade leather which feels great in my hand. The leather adds a good amount of grip to an otherwise slippery X, and also wears nice with my cruddy hands. After about a month of usage, my leather case now looks like a well-worn leather jacket. I really like the buttons on this case (in the pictures) since they're made of real metal that is anodized to match each different colored case. On my saddle brown leather case, the buttons are a dark burnt orange color which looks fantastic but also make the buttons more tactile. It's easier to locate the buttons without having to look down at my phone.
My only gripe is the steep price at $50, but considering the quality and the fact Ill only need one case for this phone, it's a cheap option in preventing cracks on a beautiful phone.

I've been a fan of Apple OEM cases since it started making them for the iPhone. The X is a phone that I definitely use a case on because fixing it so expensive (I think $269 without a warranty), and both sides are now glass to allow for wireless charging.Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2018

I recently ordered this Pink Fuchsia Leather Apple case and I must say I am highly impressed! ❤️ I own multiple Apple products and have had other iPhones in the past. I have always decided to go with a third party case because of the open bottom. I’m absolutely kicking my self for that now! 🤦♀️ Lol. This case is by far the best case I have ever owned! 😍 Fits and functions perfectly! My favorite feature is the feel of the leather and the metal buttons! It is far more sturdy than it appears and seems to offer adequate protection. I have a glass screen protector on my phone and the sides are raised up over it so if I place it on the table it is resting on the case not glass. I have also received several compliments on the Pink Fuchsia Leather! Since I purchased this case, I have bought the Black leather and the Saddle Brown leather. Yes, they are a little costly but in my opinion it is worth it, like all other Apple products!❤️🍎
