I wanted to find a battery bank that could charge my Dell laptop and this does it along with a larger usb c power cord. My laptop is a Dell Latitude 9330 and along with the Anker Power Bank I use an Anker USB C 240 W cord (Anker USB C Cable Right Angle, 240W 2-Pack 6 ft USB C to USB C Cable) - the charging cord that comes with the Anker Power Bank is not sufficient and will not charge my laptop. I have tried other battery banks and they are not able to flow enough wattage to charge my Dell laptop (it will say it is plugged in but not enough power to charge). Note from my attached screenshot that it shows the laptop is plugged in and charging. So glad to have found this. Not all Anker battery banks will charge my Dell laptop, but this one does (along with the right power cord) and I am glad to have found it.

I bought this before going on vacation after getting a Steam Deck. I've used it several times on flights to power the Deck and get several hours worth of extra gaming time. I've never run it completely down so I can't comment on how many hours, but it hasn't failed me yet. I've also used it to power my old Razer Blade Stealth 2016 laptop and it lasts the entire work day no problem. The included AC adapter is nice as well, I used the AC adapter to power the Deck at the airport so I wouldn't have to waste charge from the battery.

My only complaint is that it isn't capable of charging and powering at the same time. I wish all power banks could accept charge while also charging attached devices, especially since the only way to do so on this power bank would be to charge at up to 65W from the power brick while outputting at most like 20W from the two USB-A ports (5V 2A per port = 20W). It really would be nice to be able to charge my lower power phone while charging the power bank from a much higher power source.

 I purchased this Anker power bank charger for $159.00 plus tax in June of 2021, in preparation for my retirement in the Dominican Republic, a country which has a well documented history of electricity cut offs in certain regions of the island.

I bought the suggested hard traveling case as well, for added protection, furthermore I fully charged/topped off the unit upon receiving it, and confirmed it was operational, then topped it off once a month as reminded by my Google calendar settings; while all along responsibly guarding and protecting it with the utmost care.

While at my first Airbnb in the capital, the electricity went out in 2 different occasions for several hours, and I was fortunate enough to have this Anker charger to keep my devices at tip top shape and with lots of reserve power to spare, luckily the outages only happened twice during my entire 30 days stay, and I didn't required its use afterwards for some time.

After that initial successful use in September of 2021 (2 months after purchase), I didn't encountered a need for the portable charger until this last couple of days (last week of February 2022, and 7 months after buying it), on my latest Airbnb stay in the city of Puerto Plata, the property owner is making improvements on the electrical infrastructure and upgrading the energy back up system, and the power it's being turned off for just over 1hr on a daily basis while repairs are being done.

Although I diligently topped of the charger last December (it truly holds up to 75%-80% charge for weeks ends when not in use, so instead of topping it off every month as I was I initially doing, I decided to do it every 2 months instead). The power bank is now inoperable, as it neither take or hold a charge, and failed to provide any charge at all to any of my devices. I switch different cables to make sure that wasn't the problem, carefully inspected the unit for any sign of damage, none found, researched on line to educate myself about troubleshooting and potential solutions, to no avail, is dead!

A couple of years would have been nice, but only 7 months after purchasing brand new, and a hand full of cycles (4-6) and is completely dead. I'm extremely disappointed, more so because of the price tag on this particular Anker charger, and the inability to find a comparable product with similar performance here in the island.

The charger is still under warranty, but do to the fact that I'm overseas, attempting a warranty claim is essentially cost prohibited (import tariffs). Besides this Anker power bank at the time of purchase was the larger capacity one allowed on flights, and strictly on carry on only and in the cabin so it could be "monitored" sort of speak, and not be place inside the cargo bay in luggage due to safety reasons, so I'm pretty much out of luck.

The attached video clip, shows the mini Led carousel light indicator just rotating in a never ending, non stop pattern: Will not charge! Will not get hot/warm! Will not hold charge! Will not provide usable charge!

the powerbank is very durable (i have crashed with my bike several times and it has been dropped from head hight going 25-30 km/h and is still working with a few small scratches. The back finish will wear off if you are not careful with it, however. this can charge 13-inch ipads like it's a wall outlet very fast! it can keep my laptop alive for a while when i don't have access to a charger, and the battery doesn't lose power in cold, I LIVE IN CANADA ITS COLD...

for the charger itself, its just fast i don't have anything to say. everyone will want to steal your charger, its gets pretty hot tho!

i think i lost its cable, but I use the USB c to USB c of my iPad and it works like a charm. BEVARE its a VOLTAGE FAST CHARGER, NOT AN AMPER FAST CHARGER!!! if your phone is an iPhone or normal androids it works fast but if its a wrap charge like oneplus or Chinese phone it works like normal charging.

the best part is that fast charging also works flawlessly on the powerbank itself. so stick it to the wall for two hours and its full

My parents bought me a lower-capacity unit when I was in the hospital, and I appreciated it enough that I got a larger unit that was intended to charge my laptop as well.

There's not much setup, given this is a power bank. It comes with a USB-C cable and a power adapter that seems to have some special "IQ" technology in itself, so keep that in mind if you think you'd get away with random USB-C plugs (I imagine that'd make the charging a lot slower, but I am not sure.)

In general it's pretty easy to use ... plug it into the wall to charge until the dots on the button all light up, then plug devices into the USB-A or USB-C slot until there's no more lights left and your devices don't charge anymore. Rinse and repeat.

There's a power user mode for low-powered devices like headphones, where you press the button until one of the lights turn green. This is supposed to keep the battery from turning off as it usually does if the power draw is minimal. That isn't obvious and required me poring the manual (and isn't really explained in the manual either, you have to read up on it.)

Another unintuitive thing is you can't charge devices and be plugged into the wall at the same time ... so you can't just plug a device into it and have it connect via the battery to AC.

The device is a beast compared to smaller batteries. I don't think I'd take it around with me on everyday errands, but it is nice around the house to say keep my laptop charged while I'm on the couch watching TV, or if I know I'm going on a day trip and an keep a power station set up somewhere. Or maybe take it to a café in case I need it, that kind of thing.

This little beast is an awesome charger.. It is quite big so it's not something you'll keep in your pocket but with the usb-c charging will charge your steam deck, switch, phones, tablets and laptops really quickly.

I use it with steam deck and it fully charges it in about 30 minutes and it can do it about 3 times before the unit needs to be charged.

If you can front the money this is the best bang for your buck charging unit!
