I really like the LG OLED65
I have Samsungs (2) and Roku TVs (3). I purchased the ROKUs because of the price but my 55" gave out after just 4 years. I had been searching for a TV with an OS that was competitive with Google and I think I found one in the LG. Here are the things I like about the TV:1) The Picture: My friends noticed that the LG picture was much better than what I had previously. Even while watching at an angle from outside my family room in my backyard, the picture was sensational.2) Live Television:2a) This TV supports the next standard of Over the air TV. Only 5 channels in my area broadcast in this standard but eventually, they all will. Reception on the Nextgen channel of CBS is much more reliable than the standard HD broadcast. Of course, this is only available to those of you that can mount an antenna -- (mine is in my attic and is connected to my former cable tv company's distributor).2b) LG Channels - Included in live TV is LG channels. These are not over the air (OTA) channels but rely on a wifi or ethernet connection. Channels like Bloomberg, Live news from various markets, a few music channels, and a lot of other content to choose from are accesible just by tuning to them. For example, I watch a bloomberg channel on "channel"129. There are quite a few that I watch regularly.3) The OS is good. You get all of the popular apps and they are updated regularly. There is also a web browser that I find useful. For example, I keep videos in my one drive account. There is no app to play videos from the cloud (that I know of -- perhaps VLC??) so I found it useful to bring up one drive and play videos on my TV using the web interface.4) LG App -- You can download the app to control your TV on your phone. ( I connected the TV to my google home and can control power, and pause video content. One cannot start apps via google however. Still -- it is a useful feature.)5) The Remote: The remote has a number pad which can be used to enter "live TV" channels or to launch apps that do not have a dedicated button. So, for example, I've set up YoutubeTV, Apple, and HBO as shortcuts. I long press 2, 3, or 4 for those apps. You can also initiate a cursor on the screen by shaking the remote and then move it by moving the remote. It saves some time when there are a lot of options on the screen -- just move the cursor to the item you want and press enter instead of hitting the directional buttons. The remote does not have a dedicated button for closed captioning. Since most of the streaming services allow you to control CC in the app, it is not too much of a bother, except when you are watching Live TV (OTA). You then must go to settings to turn cc on or off.I am attaching a picture of the TV displaying the LG Channel 151 (ABC New Live). Sadly, it so happened they were reporting on Queen Elizabeth's death today.

Going to keep this review short and simple. But the LG G1 is an amazing tv I haven't even had it for a week but im amazed with everything it offers. Including amazing picture quality right out of the box (I haven't even calibrated this tv yet). Watching movies is great. The sound quality on here is also amazing because of the fact that it gets so loud even without a sound bar. Moving on to gaming the tv is a MONSTER with 4k 120 hz support along with variable refresh rate (VRR) support and Auto Low Latence (ALL) support as well. I tried out my old xbox and was still impressed with how crisp it looked on this t.v compared to my old 2015 tv. But things got real once I connect the PS5 because of the fact that this is a new gaming console I was mind blown by how good games looked on there! If you are looking for a T.V. that shines in multiple areas including not only gaming but movies and t.v. shows. I would recommend this tv to anyone its got the all around package and is one of the best T.V.'s on the market. Buy one today!

I've only had the TV hooked up 5-6 hours. But, wow this tv is amazing! I'm upgrading from a 5 yr old Sony LED 4k tv and could instantly tell a difference. After playing with the settings a little, the color and graphics are so immersive! The sound is also really good, it sounded like a theater only on 10. Was pretty loud, but the way the sound was coming from the tv gave the home theater feel by itself. The remote so far is awesome to! It works like a Wii remote, or basically like a mouse for a computer but wireless. Also offers a microphone so you can search for you favorite shows or whatever through the tv or the remote. I've also loaded Assassins Creed Valhalla up on my PS5, and wow! The detail and graphics look absolutely stunning compared to my other TV! The price is a hard thing to overcome, but after doing research and talking to a few different Electronic Geeks. I kept coming back to this TV, and definitely say so far it was worth it! Even the wife was happy with it! 😂 Also, pictures do not do justice, go to a BestBuy or closest Electronic Store and see if they have it on display!

Great picture! This is the 2nd LG OLED tv we have bought. Love the sharp picture but the 2 year old model had developed a slight green spot on the screen out of warranty that LG would not cover. It's now banished to the basement. The newest model has a factory extended warranty on the screen and even a sharper picture. Very thin set that is designed to hang on wall. Amazon was out of stock for the optional legs but the PERLESMITH Universal TV Stand Table Top TV Base we found on Amazon is very solid and stable and works great with the set

It’s really annoying having to cope with a Tv that has a software bug that causes the Tv to ask me what I want to search when I never said anything. This happens everyday and, LG doesn’t even want to repair it. The Alexa or, LG software is garbage. Other than that, the tv image looks great.

Well I am a person that doesn’t like to spend money on things like this but I have been saving for a new TV and my old one had some dead pixels after only a few years. I bought this with the expectations that it will last. It’s the best looking TV I have ever seen. It’s far too expensive but it does have a very nice build quality. The screen finish is very reflective which can be annoying. Over all it’s a 10/10 unless it dies, You know because of planned obsolescence.

This is a great smart TV. Great picture and sound, even without a sound bar. Try it before you buy one. It fits almost flush to the wall with the included mount, which is easy to screw in to the wall. You’ll need help to hang the TV on the mount, just because of the size. It’s not that heavy. Very small bezel. But it is technically the same as the “Non-flush mounting” LG OLED TV, so if flush mounting is not important to you, you can save about $700 and get the same TV.
