1. Can I edit the map on eufy Clean G40 Hybrid+ via the eufy Clean app?

No, the map on the app can not be edited. The map only shows Cleaning Area and Cleaning Time. After the cleaning is finished, the map can not be used for the next cleaning.

2. Can eufy Clean G40 Hybrid+ mop away stubborn stains?

In general, G40 Hybrid+ is designed to only clean hard floors without carpets or stubborn stains. For best results, vacuum the floor two to three times before mopping.

3. How do I use the auto-empty station?

G40 Hybrid+ empties dust automatically. Before using the feature, make sure the dust bag is properly installed. You can also set the number of times G40 Hybrid+ will clean before emptying via the eufy Clean app.

4. How do I prevent G40 Hybrid+ from getting stuck?

Be aware of heights under furniture and block areas where G40 Hybrid+ could get stuck. The lowest heigh it can pass through is 2.8" (72.5 mm). Also, pick up loose cables and avoid using G40 Hybrid+ on carpets with tassels to avoid entanglement.

5. How do I ensure G40 Hybrid+ properly docks with the auto-empty station?

Place the self-empty station on a hard floor with 1.6 ft (0.5 m) on each side and 4.9 ft (1.5 m) in front. Check if the protective pad has been firmly attached to the self-empty station without warping. Do not put the self-empty station on carpet.

    I had the Eufy C30 for about 3-4 years and it was pretty much dead so I had to replace it. This one has the self empty feature and it is probably the best thing about it. I could never keep the old one emptied. I think this does a much better job because it is always emptied after each run. It only goes over the floor once per run so I have scheduled it to run twice a day, each run only takes about 20 minutes to do my dining room and kitchen. Hopefully it lasts a long time.

    I purchased this to replace an older version I had. It really picks up dirt and debris and I love the fact that it automatically empties into the base. I haven't tried the mop feature yet, so I'm not sure how that will work. My only complaint is that it gets stuck on stuff fairly often. I used the magnetic strips and it seems like those are hit or miss on whether they work. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.

    I honestly don't know what people expect at this price point, but we are sure happy! Even though our first unit had a defect and Eufy had to replace it after a week I give it 5 stars (I will deduct stars if we have any additional problems, but am going on the assumption it was a one-off issue).

    We upgraded from an 11s, and this unit is better in all ways, handling the shedding and debris from our two very hairy dogs with ease.

    - great suction with 4 power levels (and "quiet" level is virtually inaudible - quieter than the 11s)
    - still has spot clean feature
    - better navigation than 11s
    - decent and easy to use app
    - connected easily to mesh network (2.4ghz and 5ghz channels - it figured out how to connect with 2.4 without needing workarounds)
    - self empty works well; I prefer the ones without bags, but the upside is that these are HEPA sealed.
    - self empty bin has useful storage for bags and accessories
    - mop feature is far better than reviews suggest

    Re mopping: it is not a scrubmop. It is, however, a good wipe over the floor, and means our floor is getting done way more often = massively cleaner. If you're used to scrubbing daily you may disagree, but it is GREAT for us. You can only put water on the tank, but I use the disposable pads and spray those with cleaner every few days and it does a good job on both tile and hardwood. It can only reach the edges of our area rug and I don't mind if it gets wet so that's not an issue for us.

    We really are happy with this unit! Don't get too hung up on the mediocre reviews - it's a steal at the price.

    Do not buy. I had a moosoo that worked great for two years. This was a replacement for it. When it worked the Eufy had decent suction power though it didn’t work well on my shag rug. Device dropped waste when it went over edges between rooms so you have to clean up after it. I never got to try the diapers (hybrid). Eufy worked with wifi for two months and then stopped working. Eufy support has been miserable. I was told to follow their restart procedure which I did and then to follow a restart procedure requiring an iphone and ipad. Ridiculous. Did that but still nothing. The device supposedly works with 2.4GHz but that is not true. Wish I bought the iRobot - wasted too much money. Read the one star reviews folks not the five star reviews. They all say the same thing. Wish I had read them. Finally after troubleshooting with Eufy for 3 months and making mutiple videos returned Eufy and got a refund.

    I'm not sure anything in the saturated robot vac should get 5 stars, but this little guy is GREAT. We already own an inexpensive Eufy vac (the 25c) which came in around $125. It never gets stuck except under a pullout sofa and occasionally on a cord.

    I saw deals for mop/vacs and tried two of them in the $100 range. They were off brand, but both said they were reduced over half or 75% off, so I figured if they were regularly $500-$750, surely they would be amazing. But I sent both back. Both got stuck several times each time I sent them out. And I gave them both a week to figure out our apartment. Then I found this Eufy and decided to spend a little more with the intention that if it didn't live up to my expectations, it would go right back to Mr. Bezos.

    We're so glad we got it. Like its brother we already own, it almost never gets stuck. I like that it talks. I have it set to French, because it makes me happy that there's a French Maid in the house. It's a great product!

    I loveeeee eufy robot vacuums. I bought this as a replacement for my old one for Black Friday. I’m about to go dig my old one out of the trash. This one is soooo loud and it’s not even on “turbo” suction. It’s very slow. I get it had a set pattern it likes to run through - but the battery dies so quickly by the time it finished in my dining room it has to return home to recharge. It also takes FOREVER to charge. I haven’t tried the mop function yet because I have no clue if it can tell the difference between hardwood and carpet. Overall, I like this way less than my previous eufy.

    The charging base for my G40+ Hybrid stopped working (no indicator light coming on when plugged into a functioning wall outlet) near the end of March 2024 (purchased unit October 2023). Contacted customer support online March 19, 2024. They ended up requesting additional proof of issue with the unit. Provided photos of unit plugged into wall outlet and charge base light indicator not coming on. Also provided photos of a nightlight plugged into same plug with light working (indicating no issue with wall plug). After providing supporting photos they sent a charge base for a 11S robo vacuum (not compatible with the G40+). Received an email follow up asking how the replacement was working on April 5. I then replied indicating the replacement charge base is not compatible with my unit (never mind the fact that it does not have the capability to auto empty the vacuum unit). Escalated my concern and heard back from Eufy customer support manager on April 10 indicating the unit is popular. "The part you have requested is still delayed. Please excuse any delay as it is a sought-after item." With no timeline as to fulfilment of warranty claim.

I've spent more time chasing around trying to find her and fix her foibles than I would have vacuuming the whole house top to bottom. I've watched her go over the same piece of string five times and just drag it around. I've laid on the bed and watched, with baited breath, for her to go wandering by. The entire family celebrated the first, and, unfortunately, only time, she finished a run without getting absolutely and unutterably stuck. I've attached a picture of her stuck under (!) the cat scratcher. How in the heck she got under there we'll never know.

    I've contacted customer support via email and received no response.

    All that said, I'm not returning her. My family have named her Euphegenia and she's our little idiot ... and we love her.
