I agonized over what to buy and was NOT disappointed! I liked this brand when I saw it in the store, went back to buy and they were sold out.... all suitcases were at the time actually even from other brands I was also considering. BUT it was a good thing because then I cam across this handsome gem!!!
It held up very well for our 2 week vacation, family of 5 traveling. We purchased two of these for our trip in 2021. Everything for 2 Adults, 1 eleven year old, and 1 two year old got packed into this and some belongings of my 15 year old. (15 year old just HAD to have 'her own bag' and 'had to be carry on')
The Liquid pockets are super nice and seem like they will hold up for many many years. Very thick and durable. All the mesh pockets made organization of smaller items a dream, and I really like having the zippered section for clothing too. Handle was easy to extend and the cases rolled like on a cloud. We used the expansion on our trip home (souvenirs) and that was easy and great too! Dimensions worked out well for Jetblue on our arrival and Frontier on our departure for checked bags.
Not having a built in lock I was at first disappointed about. However on second thought, having separate lock isn't a bad thing. If the code is forgotten on a separate lock that is easily solved by cutting the lock, if it's built in you have a bigger problem.
These were also easy to spot in baggage claim, and did I mention they are handsome! I really do personally dig the semi classic look of them while still being made out of plastic. I WILL be looking for and purchasing the matching carry on for future smaller trips!

Expected a bit more from SwissGear
I got the white carry-on. Beautiful suitcase, but you can immediately tell that the build quality is subpar. The telescoping handle gets stuck sometimes, the zippers aren't smooth, the corners of the suitcase aren't all flush the same - you can just tell it's very cheaply made once you get a closer look. However, it is very light, rolls good, looks great and will likely serve its purpose. Not too worried since carry-ons only take as much of a beating as you give them.
