Update: the replacement works great, no issues so far, added an extra star because well, it functions as intended and does its job well enoughIt's still a toaster oven though, so things aren't always evenly cooked, but it does good enough for being used at work, where we don't have a real oven. And this one arrived without any weird defects, so that's a plusOriginal:I'm having to refund the product because as pictured, the left side of the rack is about 1 to 1.25 inch lower than the right side. The metal along the left, top, and right sides on the inside is one solid sheet, the screw holes are apparently in the right spot, so I'm not sure how the rack indents are this poorly aligned. Coworkers suggested we just prop up the left side, but at this much money, it should just be right.Oster support said I could mail it back to them directly for a replacement, or just return it to Amazon (which is the easier option). Though I worry that getting a replacement from Amazon might just end with me receiving another faulty product, I'll update the review if so.And finally ***THE POWER CORD IS PAINFULLY SHORT***I can not stress this enough.I have an outlet about an inch to the left of where I have the oven sitting, and the cord is still too short to plug in. I've bought a 1ft cable (with proper wire ratings) to bridge this gap because I can't move it any further left. If you can't place the oven immediately in front of an outlet, or immediately to the left of the outlet, get an extra cable. Horrible design flaw. The booklet that comes with it says it's to prevent trip hazards? I'm not putting this item on the floor or moving it often.Anyways, I'll update the review once I have a replacement and actually get to use it.

I purchased this a year ago to use as an oven. I use it mainly to bake and broil. Doesn't seem to air fry all that well (I use my Ninja air fryer) but its a great little oven to bake cookies, roast a chicken, cook some ribs, etc. I am moving to Canada in a few months and am hoping I can find the same model there.

This oven arrived on time and was packaged really well. It is large, almost as wide as the dishwasher and as high as the cabinets so I hesitated to buy it initially. After using this a month, I am glad I purchased it. I've used, broil, toast, air fry and bake so far and they all came out perfect. I love the large capacity with plenty of room for air frying. Toast does take awhile but comes out perfect. I love that I can adjust the shade. I do wish the pans cleaned up easier so I may replace them. It is nice in the summer heat to not have to use a stove/oven however the unit does get hot so be careful. I did allot of research before selecting this oven and I think it is a great value!

Bought this oven since my oven on my stove died. It works great. Preheats quickly. After a trial and error of finding the best settings for cooking my meals it is working great. I only have two complaints with this oven, first no light in the oven to check your food without opening the door, second I wish there was a flat cookie sheet that would come with it. I haven't found a cookie sheet that would fit

I bought this oven as my apartment did not come with one.

The first issue I came across was that some of the areas of the oven were so ridiculously sharp that I cut myself repeatedly just by lifting it to put it on my counter. I bought an oven not a knife.

After following all the instructions, I got an adapter that limited the Voltage to the same amount as requested. As soon as I plugged it in, it instantly killed my adapter, so I changed adapter thinking it might have just been old.

My second try was successful, turning the oven on and setting it to bake, to test it out as I was excited to have a nice dinner tonight. But after only 2 minutes, the oven got so hot that my kitchen was hot enough to cook an egg, and the metal tray provided with the oven was starting to crack and degrade inside.

This led me to pull it out with an oven mitten, WHICH MELTED, almost burning my hand after only a few seconds of touching the metal plate. After noticing this I quickly tried to pull the plug, but before I could I heard a loud bang and a flash of light as the oven instantly died. (This almost electrocuted me)

If things couldn't get any worst, I can't even get a refund as the shipping cost that AMAZON won't refund, is more than the total price of this oven as I live abroad.

This is not an oven it's an absolute death trap. If it was just the sharp edges I would not recommend this for parents with kids, but with everything else, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Quite the opposite actually, STAY AWAY from this at all cost.

I would give this product a negative score if I could.

I owned the Oster XL (non air dry)oven for many years (8) and it had so much baked on stuff that I decided to treat myself & replace. It was still working fine.

Replaced with this XL Air Fry and comparing the two, I see a big difference in the quality of some things.

First - “The Blinking Light”
When unit is plugged in the Air Fry light will blink non stop. Very annoying. On any appliance I have had, a blinking light is an indication for you to do something. There is no option for a steady display. I read other’s comments ( after I purchased) and also called. Maybe Oster fixed it? “No” I was told.
So….. I need to unplug and plug. Older Oster unit had a clock display and NO blinking light when plugged in.

Dislike # 2
Baking pan - Older Oster unit had a heavy duty enamel baking pan. New unit has a very light pan with a sprayed coating of some sort that had already flaked off on some parts. I did not use it at all. I got rid of it and spent $40+ ordering the original from a replacement parts store online.
Check your pan and inspect if coating is coming off before and after you cook. Clean gently.

Air Fry insert tray is also low quality and has very sharp edges on the underside that I discovered when washing it. This tray is also very light.
The slide in rack that holds the baking pan is not heavy duty stainless steel like my older oven.

I like that I can fit a full 13x9 pan with handles. The pan is 15" across and it fits, barely but it fits, most small convection ovens you cannot. It goes in 25 degree increments and I wish it had finer temperature controls but that is a small issue as size was the most important thing to me. I had a non-convection oven and wanted to replace it with a convection oven which does cook more evenly and rapidly. I like that you have the convection and normal bake option as for chicken wings, chicken fingers, pizza I use the convection but like using regular non-convection for casseroles. I have not used the dehydrator option yet. I am very satisfied with it.
