This handheld vacuum is a total bathroom cleanup essential! It's compact, lightweight, and effortlessly sucks up every last shedding or shaving of hair. The rechargeable design is convenient and it's so slim that I can leave it charged and ready right on in the corner of the counter. I would love to try on the stairs next. Great little vacuum!

I have three of these. One on my potting bench, one on my kitchen counter, and one on my tool bench. These are so great for quick clean ups of dust bunnies, wood shavings, flour, crumbs, soil, dirt, and even bugs! We will often vacuum up a bug and either let it outside or dump it directly into the toilet. Will even suck up big spiders, like wolf spiders! Helps me be a bit more brave, since it gives me a little more distance between me and the bug than a tissue. The charge stand is nice, and can even be wall mounted. The cup is easy to dump out, and the filter is easy to clean. The suction is great, yet very quiet. Versatile and easy to use for a variety of situations. I needed a little handheld vacuum for my finished basement "man cave" where my office and TV/stereo are. The room is carpeted and I needed something for quick clean ups of minor spills, crumbs, etc. This little Grab & Go 8-Volt is perfect. It works on the carpets as well as it works on tabletops. I love that it has the charging base, so it's always charged up when I need it. The suction power is pretty good and has worked so far for all my needs. The filter is easy to remove and clean when needed, and the receptacle is a decent size and doesn't fill up too quick. I bought a cheaper hand vacuum with no brand name a few months ago and it didn't work well and the motor finally gave out. Was not worth the few extra dollars I saved. I can already tell this Dirt Devil is made better. Happy with my buy!

For what we use it for, this little vac does a very good job! It has good suction, very useful flip-up crevice nozzle and brush roll attachment, good battery life (about 5-10 mins on full charge even after 3 years use!), durability and ease of use. I do miss the wall hanger/charger option some of the B&D and other more expensive vacs offer, but it can be worked around. The filter is easy to clean out and works well. The dust cup is a bit small and without a tool can be tricky to clean out at the tip, but you probably should dump one after every use anyway!
We've been using ours nearly 4 years now--the longest running hand vac we've owned! There are more powerful vacs with more features and longer run time, but you pay twice the price and then the batteries often fail after a couple years and cannot be replaced (seems planned?). We definitely got our money's worth on a handy vac that does a good job! If you require a vac that does almost what an upright does, cleans a whole flight of carpeted steps, for large families, etc. then this may not quite do it, but for the average home this will do well!

This latest design is outstanding in many respects:
Easy to operate, well designed for handling, easy to clean,
excellent suction, LED in handle indication showing when
operating and when placed in charging stand shows totally
charged (stops blinking). Wall mounting, or stand on counter
is well designed. However, after two days use,
the charging ceased to operate!
I believe this is an issue with the base connection. These things happen occassionally.
Have returned to Amazon for a replacement.

 I am giving this product 0 stars! I charged this product for 24 hours. I tried using it to clean up debris from the wood pellets in my smoker grill and it didn't suck up any of it. It was completely charged by the way. Press the power button and all you hear is noise with no suction at all. Do not waste your money on this product. I like this vacuum for the suction power which appears strong. I also like the fact the crevice tool is built in. I haven't needed to use the power tool yet but am sure it will work well. I did buy this for the much reduced price of "Used-Like New". It is working well after only a few weeks' use and am hoping this will continue. Would recommend.
