This is a sort of a hybrid of coffee shop and laundromat. I came to try the coffee and it was delicious. I enjoyed the flavorful mocha with almond milk.

A great little cafe situated in one corner of a laundromat. I never thought I'd be a fan of any eatery located inside of a laundromat, but I was wrong. I've been here about a dozen times.

The lattes and coffee are solid (good but not the best I've ever had). The cafe has a wide selection of base goods, including gluten free Dynamo Donuts! The Lemon Powered Donut is amazing.

      What a great concept!
Doing laundry sucks when you don't have machines in your building (and, let's be honest, even when you do) but Spin City has such a pleasant environment-and great coffee! You can come here with a book and actually enjoy your time instead of just getting through the chore so you can go on to something better. I saw that the hours are pretty dern convenient as well!

We've been coming to Spin City for almost 5 years now. Although we don't come here for the laundry facilities anymore, we still come here for the cute atmosphere, delicious coffee, and the friendly owner (and barista!) in the heart of Noe Valley.

Came here the other day with my boyfriend after being away for the holiday and in the desert for some camping. We have laundry in our building but it was super convenient to use the larger washers and dryers. About $5 for a large heavy duty wash. The laundry side is a little neglected but we really enjoyed the coffee selection and blueberry muffin. 5 stars all around because this place does what it needs to do, with available bathrooms, detergent vending machines, large washers/dryers, quarter dispenser, and spot on coffee+baked goods!

I will share a small story though which I feel has nothing to do with deducting stars and hate when I see reviews where people take away from the business because certain clientele are inappropriate.

A hippy looking, 40+ woman, with glasses approached me claiming I was killing her with my detergent. She then went on a rant as I continued to just sit and smile to not escalate her demeanor. What honestly is so shameful of the situation is that I am open to hearing and learning about organic products and how to be a better person to my environment. I ended up purchasing what she had recommended but in the end I feel the world would be a better place if we kept in mind that being right doesn't always mean you need to sacrifice being kind. During her rant I was told that shopping at Gus market is totally foul, that rainbow market is the last good piece of San Francisco, and even mocked for not knowing its location off the top of my head.

Hopefully my review doesn't keep from going to Spin city. Enjoy a cup a coffee while your clothes clean. Stay away from Tide! And be in bliss with your blueberry muffin :)

Wow! We popped in for coffee on a Sunday afternoon and were so impressed! The coffee (we got Americanos) was delicious, the live music they had going was awesome, the barista was friendly, and the space (a former laundromat) was neat. I'm not sure how often they have live music, but the folks they had performing today really wowed us, and made our visit memorable.

The laundromat has CLOSED! Though you can still get coffee.

I have been coming here for at least 5 years. Just another bit of old San Francisco disappeari... well, I know it's not the Elbo Room or Kink, but this little place had a piece of my heart. It was clean, convenient, quiet. The kind of laundromat you could bring your laptop or a book on a dark winter night and shelter inside as your clothes were made new again. A lot of the machines seemed to be broken, but you could always find one.

Thank you, Spin City, for doing all my pants, shirts, gym clothes, socks and even my dogs' disgusting beds. Guess I have to find somewhere else now. Or maybe even - gulp - buy my own washing machine. It's just so sudden...

I have gone to this little coffee shop a few times. My first time was really nice and the taste was very fresh. Since then, I think the quality has gone down a bit. It's always busy when I have gone and sometimes the barista is nice but not always. I do see a lot of regulars that do go to this coffee shop more than the crappy Martha's.

I always get the mocha with their dairy free milk which the oat milk is my favorite. I don't like how the oat milk is a hit or miss there as the last few times I have gone, they didn't have any oat milk.
I think their drinks are on the small side but I think it's because it's more a hippie European coffee shop. I feel like they should get a larger size and still have their traditional regular size. The price has recently gone up as well which I know how expensive it is within the neighborhood but I'm not sure how fast I will be back for a cup of coffee unless I'm really craving a mocha and they have oat milk.

I never tried their doughnuts/sweets there so I'm not sure if it is good to try or not.

I would definitely pick this shop over Martha's as I just despise Martha's coffee/mochas.

      Wow.

I've been doing my laundry here for a few years now and the only reason is its proximity to my home. It's a pretty poorly run operation. On any given day at least 40-50% of the washers and dryers are out of order. The ATM doesn't work either. Thankfully, the change machine was always functioning. I'm not sure if the coffee is a separate business from the laundromat, but the coffee is good. Now comes the 'wow' part. A few weeks ago I noticed a washer that wasn't draining and had standing, discolored water in it. It had probably been like that for at least a few days or more. I remember mentioning it to someone that worked there. I stumbled upon the same washer again today, at least a few weeks later. The water is still there, was an opaque black color, and had a mat of mold or something equally nasty on top (see photos below). Truly horrific with a literally breath-taking smell. I mentioned it to the woman who was working there and she thanked me for informing her (in her most patronizing tone, I'd wager) and said she was aware and would clean it up. When I mentioned that it was a health hazard to prepare food 10 feet from this mess (black mold, E. coli, mildew, and who knows what else is in there) she again thanked me and went back to talking to her friend. She closed up shop and left a few minutes later. The lack of concern with regard to a toxic situation was also breathtaking. I'm wondering if it will ever be cleaned. I'll never find out but I'm sure the Health Dept. will now that it's on their radar.

I enjoy multi-purpose spaces. There's a place in Oakland's fruitvale neighborhood which has a taqueria inside a laundromat and that works.

I guess this is the same concept, Spin City Coffee has a setup in front of the laundromat and you can get coffee, espresso drinks and pastries while doing a load of laundry.

The staff seem friendly and they serve Blue Bottle Coffee, good combination!
