Gilly's Creamery

I'm so glad that this place is still open after so many years. There are so many other ice cream shops, in the area, but this shop will always be my favorite. This was always my go-to shop back in high school and now I finally get to take my son. The quality is still there, the cute vibes are still there, everything about Gilly's is so nostalgic and I'll always support them when I'm in town!

Inside.....It's too crowded for me. I turned around and walked out. The place looked messy and the workers were disheveled.

found this place on yelp and I'm glad I did. The service was solid and the ice cream was even better. I got a 4 scoop of the cookies n cream flavor and then the next day I got a 4 scoop of 2 cookies n cream & 2 brownie batter which was very good. Pretty good ice cream that I would definitely recommend and would be open to going back.

The ice cream served at Gillys Creamery is the best! The taste of the ice cream is rich, creamy and smooth. It really is quality! The staff is attentive and will ask questions so you get exactly what you like ! The place is organized and clean, they give plenty of napkins. I don't think I can eat ice cream anywhere else but Gillys , I am spoiled by this amazing, unique, super super creamy tasting ice cream! I love the location too. There are shops, a Farmers Market, and 2 bakeries nearby . Parking is plentiful, I never ever have an issue. Go to Gillys, you'll love this place!!!

Homemade ice cream! Come and get your homemade ice cream! Everything tasted so good! We ordered the strawberry, coconut and Carmel espresso ice cream!!! And they were all good choices! I especially loved the coconut bits in that particular flavored ice cream!

They are allowing inside dining with plenty of room! But the farmers market does have outdoor tables available for the public too. They have hand wipes available for the messy kids or adults lol. Plenty of parking available. And you can try as much flavors you want!

I've stopped in to Gilly's a couple of times in the past year - but have usually walked out due to the sheer number of people waiting in line.

Yesterday was the PERFECT day to stop in - right around 3:30 pm for an afternoon treat with our little one.

We almost had 2nd thoughts about coming to the market. The small carnival is running right now - hoards of people were there, most with no masks and certainly not many observing masking protocols. But we found the market itself to be quiet and parked on the back side.

There were only a couple of patrons inside Gilly's. The 2 young ladies working both donned masks correctly, were kind and welcoming to the family in front of us and to my family. They were patient while we browsed the menu and offered tastes of any of the flavors if we were interested.

They have a variety of ice creams, but were out of sorbet today which
slightly bummed me out. I hope they have some when we return, but omigoodness...the ice cream! I'm glad we each ordered the Little Gilly - they shoved at least 2 scoops into that little cup alone. It was impressive!

For 2 Little Gilly's, it was about $6.50 and was more than enough for the 3 of us to share. I chose the Black Forest, which is vanilla base with chocolate cake and maraschino cherries while hubby ordered Peanut Butter Chip which was peanut butter ice cream with mini chocolate chips. Both were absolutely delicious - super creamy and packed with flavor!

We were happy to enjoy our ice cream in the center of the market, where several picnic tables were available. I will definitely return during these warmer months for a sweet treat!

Walked into friendly, cute, and country. Great old fashioned, homemade, and delicious ice cream. Wonderful selection of flavors.

My sister and I were staring at the list when a little girl and her mom were leaving. This little girl was so impressed with the ice cream that as she was walking out she said " I just had the chocolate caramel and I HIGHLY recommend getting that." I was so surprised getting a recommendation from such a little girl and with such an enthusiastic endorsement THAT is EXACTLY what I got and yes it was AMAZING!!!!!!!

My sister got the red velvet cake cheesecake ice cream with snickers sprinkles . If you could have seen our reaction to our first bites. You would have thought we both won the lottery at the same time. Her ice cream was made from real fluffy cake.

Next time when I go I'm going to have a hard time deciding what to get. IT IS THAT GOOD. Do not get the waffle cone it is store bought and not homemade. That was my only negative

I have heard great things about this ice cream place and it did not disappoint. Not much seating nearby but there are benches outside. Portions are large. The ice cream tastes like old fashioned homemade ice cream. Great stop for a warm day. You can also enjoy the many vendor's market.
